Bummer. Shall I just create an MP for the "unconditionally stdout
expected" `dh-cargo-vendored-sources` option then?

I've already implemented that feature and augmented the existing `dh-
cargo` autopkgtest to ensure it works properly.

It's unfortunate that we still have to directly edit `d/control`, but it
does indeed allow package maintainers to update their vendored sources
list more easily.
