DanielS, thank you for your help. Even when switching to the non-open version of nvidia-graphics- driver-570, I am still experiencing the freezes.
Regarding a potential bad connection of the graphics card on the motherboard, I think it is fair to rule that out, since I encounter no problems on Xorg or Windows. And even if the Ubuntu 25.04 install is fresh, I have had no such issues in the past 6 months. For now I have been forced to log on a Xorg session rather than Wayland, even if Ubuntu Software center is not loading on my Xorg session right now, apparently because of an GL problem... Not being able to use Wayland worries me a bit since I heard that future versions of Ubuntu will only support Wayland. Anyway, thank you again gentlemen! And please excuse my poor English. -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/2115193 Title: System freezes randomly on Ubuntu 25.04 Wayland with nvidia- driver-570-open To manage notifications about this bug go to: https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/nvidia-graphics-drivers-570/+bug/2115193/+subscriptions -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list [email protected] https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
