------- Comment From [email protected] 2025-07-03 07:51 EDT------- Ok sadly I'm a little confused here. I tried to verify using 6.8.0-64-generic from noble-proposed. I couldn't get the special case where a re-add happens basically instantly because we also added a partial workaround for the issue in firmware. So then I decided to verify using code inspection and looked at[0]. There however I can't see the code change. For example I couldn't find the new zpci_event_reappear() function in arch/s390/pci/pci_event.c from commit 4b1815a52d7e ("s390/pci: Allow re-add of a reserved but not yet removed device"). Am I possibly looking at the wrong version?
