Thank you for addressing this so quickly. I have downloaded both libpciaccess0_0.17-3ubuntu0.25.04.2 from plucky- proposed and libpciaccess0_0.17-3ubuntu0.24.04.2 from noble-proposed and tested both one after another on Linux Mint (Rel. 22.1, xia) where I have seen the problem (as I reported in https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/2115605). Linux Mint in this releases uses noble as a base repo.
Package tested: libpciaccess0_0.17-3ubuntu0.25.04.2_amd64.deb Testing performed: Rebooting the system twice after installing the package Result: System behaves correctly Package tested: libpciaccess0_0.17-3ubuntu0.24.04.2_amd64.deb Testing performed: Rebooting the system twice after installing the package Result: System behaves correctly I am changing the "noble" tag to verification-done-noble. -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/2115574 Title: Upgrade of libpciaccess0 to 0.17-3ubuntu0.25.04.1 causes black screen on boot with AMD Radeon GPU To manage notifications about this bug go to: https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/libpciaccess/+bug/2115574/+subscriptions -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list [email protected] https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
