What about pushing it to 25.04, so that more users test it before the
release of 25.10?

Also, is my understanding correct that one can implement the fix by
adding these lines in /etc/modprobe.d/nvidia-graphics-drivers-kms.conf?

# Preserve video memory on suspend/resume
options nvidia NVreg_PreserveVideoMemoryAllocations=1
options nvidia NVreg_TemporaryFilePath=/var
