distro-info/distro-info-data should be the single provider for this information. All other tools like apt-cacher, debci, debootstrap, devscripts, ubuntu-dev-tools, etc use it.
If you do not like to add a dependency I suggest following: Support distro-info/distro-info-data by using it in case it is present. Otherwise fall back to the hard-coded list. Then the dpkg-dev-el package can recommend distro-info/distro-info-data. -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/2068864 Title: Support for Ubuntu code names pending To manage notifications about this bug go to: https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/dpkg-dev-el/+bug/2068864/+subscriptions -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list [email protected] https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
