Yes I have this problem on my computer with Ubuntu version 22.04. The screen is connected with HDMI. When the screen is supposed to go to sleep after a few minutes it turns on again, the screen goes black but is on and not in sleep.
According to bug https://gitlab.freedesktop.org/drm/amd/-/issues/662 this problem is fixed in later Mutter versions (48 and later) but since I have Ubuntu 22.04 I can't install these fixes. Using Ubuntu 22.04.5 with kernel 6.8. My system is using an AMD GPU. Backporting the fixes for earlier Ubuntu versions would be good! -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/1790861 Title: amdgpu.dc dual monitor issues when trying to sleep / power off the monitors To manage notifications about this bug go to: https://bugs.launchpad.net/gnome-settings-daemon/+bug/1790861/+subscriptions -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list [email protected] https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
