Hi Alexander and sorry for the late reply, the person on triage that day was sick and we are recovering lost bugs one by one.
The kind of error you report is odd, especially if you can reproduce it. Because usually that error is associated with filesytem corruption. If it is a one-off fine, then your system somehow caught something and you should look at fsck. But if it is reproducible you'd have found a reliable trigger to corrupt a filesystem which does not sound good. Example cases - https://unix.stackexchange.com/questions/330742/cannot-remove-file-structure-needs-cleaning - https://community.spiceworks.com/t/linux-structure-needs-cleaning-error/660946 and many more per search engines ... Due to the time passed, sorry again, was that a disk corruption or a case that reproducibly causes this (as I read on upgrades from 20.04 to 22.04 - which I've seen to work just fine)? ** Changed in: sg3-utils (Ubuntu) Status: New => Incomplete -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/2092317 Title: package sg3-utils 1.44-1ubuntu2 failed to install/upgrade: unable to stat './usr/share/doc/sg3-utils/README.gz' (which was about to be installed): Structure needs cleaning To manage notifications about this bug go to: https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/sg3-utils/+bug/2092317/+subscriptions -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list [email protected] https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
