Public bug reported:

Ubuntu 24.04.2 LTS
Package: Unsure

Request: That problems/alerts/decisions encountered during the transfer
of multiple files are held until the end, after all of the non-
problematic file transfers have been completed.

Current Operation:
I need to back up my system, and Ubuntu tells me it will take 2 hours. I start
the process and leave to do other things.

When I come back 2 hours later, I find that Ubuntu stopped in the first
3 minutes because it encountered a problem/conflict that needs a
resolution, *and it completely stopped the transfer of files*.

This means I must sit there baby-sitting the system for two hours, or
longer.

Would it be possible for large transfer tasks to have the system hold
all problems until the end, and continuing transferring all those files
that do not present problems?

** Affects: ubuntu
     Importance: Undecided
         Status: New
