Hi, sorry it took me so long to respond. I had to play catch up after having my computer unbootable for a few days, and I didn't feel like breaking everything to reproduce this bug again.
Just to be clear, the combination that I'm using that IS working is Ubuntu/Kubuntu 24.04 with nvidia-driver-550-open. This is the latest version of the driver that I've been able to use without experiencing this issue. However, I need to be able to install nvidia-driver-570-open and CUDA 12.6 for an important project, so this combination is unacceptable to me long term. But I tried again today to install nvidia-driver-570-open, and the same issue occurred. Attached is the output of the journalctl commands you requested. Also, there does not appear to be a way to disable the Aspeed integrated graphics in the BIOS. Is there a way I could prevent it from being used in the kernel boot params to see if that's the issue?
