Public bug reported:
ruby-csv was recently promoted to main.
Unfortunately, it has no DEP8 tests.
A good starting point here would be running the upstream test suite
through autodep8. Ruby packages have some automation in place to run the
upstream test suite as DEP8 tests with autodep8.
The reason ruby-csv does not run its upstream test suite with
autopkgtest is that the current sources for the package come from
rubygems instead of the official git repository, and upstream packages
this gem without the tests directory. This could be fixed by wither
changing the package to fetch sources from the git repository or by
adding an additional tarball with the test suite to the package.
Ideally, this change should be performed in Debian so we can pick it up
upon sync. Alternatively, we can add it as a delta and forward it to
Debian right away.
