Debian bug: https://bugs.debian.org/cgi-bin/bugreport.cgi?bug=1105747
The debian maintainer has packaged 7.4 and released to debian -unstable, and it has synced to questing -proposed, so questing is on track. https://launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/cifs-utils/2:7.4-1 I have finished testing all my test packages, and they work great. I have asked the Security Team to sponsor the debdiffs for focal, jammy, noble, oracular, plucky to -security-proposed. I'll try get these verified over the weekend or on Monday, and and let's try aim for a release to -security on Monday night APAC time. Thanks, Matthew ** Changed in: cifs-utils (Ubuntu Questing) Status: In Progress => Fix Committed ** Bug watch added: Debian Bug tracker #1105747 https://bugs.debian.org/cgi-bin/bugreport.cgi?bug=1105747 -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/2112614 Title: Regression: After CVE-2025-2312 cifs.upcall can't find credential caches from user env To manage notifications about this bug go to: https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/cifs-utils/+bug/2112614/+subscriptions -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list [email protected] https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
