Any news here? I'm using debmirror + local lighttpd to server repos. I am very much affected by this problem.
My current workaround is to kill apt processes in CLOSE_WAIT state via cron. But this is not "perfect". Doesn't extra patching (Adam's patch) of complied code require constant repackaging to also get Ubuntu changes? Sounds difficult to maintain for me. -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/2003851 Title: occasional hanging 'apt-get update' from daily cronjob since Jammy 22.04 To manage notifications about this bug go to: https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/apt/+bug/2003851/+subscriptions -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list [email protected] https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
