Manual changing of this line resolved my problem - for now!

Apparently the issue is solved upstream, so hopefully the package
maintainer can fix it quickly.

There seems to be a PPA with a patched version by quan:
Those who use Ubuntu 25.04 can get nala v0.16 (which has fixed this issue) via
