Thanks for the offer to help. I am not very skilled at troubleshooting in Linux so I'll do my best. What command do I need to issue? Is it simply "dmesg" on its own and then output it to a file?
I'm pretty sure that the kernels were from mainline as I followed a tutorial to change kernel but I'll check my bash history to be sure. Thanks again. -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/2111569 Title: No sound via HDMI on older Nvidia card (using nouveau driver) To manage notifications about this bug go to: https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/alsa-driver/+bug/2111569/+subscriptions -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list [email protected] https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
