I would be more inclined to understand that if this bug had been reported AFTER Gutsy was released. But this bug was reported on August 2nd, and as far as I know Gutsy is also known as 7.10, which indicates that it was released in October. I'm living with 80x25, which is a "working" solution but, as someone said earlier, seem rather silly this long after the standard came out. For someone trying out linux as an alternative to Windows for the first time and runs into some trouble needing to login without X?
