** Also affects: ubuntu-realtime (Ubuntu Jammy)
Importance: Undecided
Status: New
** Description changed:
[ Impact ]
* A new version of ubuntu-realtime was released for plucky. We want to
- backport those changes to oracular.
+ backport those changes to jammy/noble/oracular.
[ Test Plan ]
* Since ubuntu-realtime is a helper package to install the linux-
realtime package and configure grub to prefer the real-time kernel, it
can be tested as follows.
* Intall ubuntu-realtime package. This should also install linux-realtime
* Reboot
* Confirm the real-time kernel is now running with `uname -r`
[ Where problems could occur ]
* If there is an error in the package, it may not install linux-
realtime or start the real-time kernel at boot. In such a case, the
previously installed kernel would run instead.
[ Other Info ]
- * This is the first release to oracular.
+ * This is the first release to jammy/noble/oracular.
