Here are my findings on GTK4 when testing on GNOME-Xorg without the driver-side fix.
The NGL backend shows graphical corruption when resuming (but eventually resolves itself when presumably something causes the textures to be reloaded from disk), while the Vulkan backend breaks up completely with: vkGetFenceStatus(): The logical or physical device has been lost. (VK_ERROR_DEVICE_LOST) (-4) As expected, no issues with GTK4 applications when using the driver-side fix instead. -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/1876632 Title: [nvidia] Screen freeze or corrupted/missing textures when switching users, switching VTs or resuming from suspend To manage notifications about this bug go to: https://bugs.launchpad.net/gnome-shell/+bug/1876632/+subscriptions -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list [email protected] https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
