The upstream build fails while cleaning (normalizing) a file [1] that has unicode sequences in it using a sed | sort pipeline [2]. I reduced this to a smaller reproducer. Evidently the "sort" implementation from rust-coreutils is failing where the one from "gnu-coreutils does not fail.
