Public bug reported: I have an Raspberry Pi 5 and I usually install Ubuntu (E.g., 24.10) and then upgrade to KDE Plasma using the command “sudo apt install kde-full” The user feedback for system settings default is disabled. Later I discovered that the user feedback in system settings will show if I use the “sudo apt install kubuntu-desktop”
May be the development team can make sure the user feedback in system settings is shown in both cases. https://discourse.ubuntu.com/t/user-feedback-in-system-settings-for-kde-plasma/62078 https://discuss.kde.org/t/user-feedback-in-system-settings/33373/6 ProblemType: Bug DistroRelease: Ubuntu 25.04 Package: plasma-desktop 4:6.3.4-0ubuntu1 ProcVersionSignature: Ubuntu 6.14.0-1005.5-raspi 6.14.0 Uname: Linux 6.14.0-1005-raspi aarch64 ApportVersion: 2.32.0-0ubuntu5.1 Architecture: arm64 CasperMD5CheckResult: unknown CloudArchitecture: aarch64 CloudID: nocloud CloudName: unknown CloudPlatform: nocloud CloudSubPlatform: config-disk (/dev/mmcblk0p1) CurrentDesktop: KDE Date: Mon Jun 2 16:55:34 2025 ImageMediaBuild: 20241007.1 SourcePackage: plasma-desktop UpgradeStatus: Upgraded to plucky on 2025-05-14 (19 days ago) ** Affects: plasma-desktop (Ubuntu) Importance: Undecided Status: New ** Tags: apport-bug arm64 arm64-image plucky raspi-image ** Attachment added: "This pop up will show when apt install kubuntu-desktop but not apt install kde-full" https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/2112338/+attachment/5881789/+files/download.png -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/2112338 Title: User feedback in system settings for KDE Plasma To manage notifications about this bug go to: https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/plasma-desktop/+bug/2112338/+subscriptions -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list [email protected] https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
