[ Impact ]

 * Firmware update on BMG hardware can override default link speed which can 
lead
to broken communication when PCIe gen 5 is too unstable. Some hardware is able 
to auto-downgrade their speed in order to recover from such situation and setup 
more efficient configuration. Expose hardware status and the support of such 
feature.
