Public bug reported:

I upgraded to Plucky today and was greeted by a black screen after
restarting. Since I can still get into GRUB, I tried booting with the
old kernel (6.11) and that works fine.

When selecting 6.14 the entire machine appears to lock up. I get no
output whatsoever, so the screen is either entirely black or has two
lines of text¹.

My machine is a MacBook Pro 2012. There should be more hardware details
attached.

¹) I fail to recall the exact content. I think "Loading image..." or
something like that.
