I think this bug might be closer to https://github.com/NVIDIA/open-gpu- kernel-modules/issues/659, judging from the kernel log.
i915 warnings in the log only show issues related to Intel GPU probing and should not cause the screen to freeze (they can also indicate a firmware bug or ACPI table issue). To see if the Intel GPU is the problem, I think Askan can try `sudo prime-select intel` to use iGPU for rendering. ** Bug watch added: github.com/NVIDIA/open-gpu-kernel-modules/issues #659 https://github.com/NVIDIA/open-gpu-kernel-modules/issues/659 -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/2107653 Title: [Acer Nitro AN517-54] Screen freezes on ubuntu 25.04 To manage notifications about this bug go to: https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/linux/+bug/2107653/+subscriptions -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list [email protected] https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
