dmesg output is truncated, only showing a bunch of ufw lines. Could you
provide a full dmesg output?

could you also provide more info about the audio chip being used. A
quick search led me to:
https://www.msi.com/Motherboard/H81M-P33/Specification which says :
Realtek ALC887

Finally, it could be a configuration issue with pipewire. could you
check that

1. the headphones are showing up in the Gnome control center, the headphones
show up as an output device.
2. ensure pulseaudio is running. pipewire is the default and pulseaudio is not
_strictly_ required. you can check pipewire-pulse configuratoin files, as per
the pipewire docs: https://docs.pipewire.org/page_man_pipewire-pulse_conf_5.html
3. check the journal for any pulseaudio related issues.
4. check if there are daemon issues with pulseaudio (systemctl status )
