I was facing the same issue i.e. machine not booting after taking snapshot of bpool with ubuntu 22.04.03. However, when I reinstall OS with ISO 22.04.0 where zfs kernel module and zfs utils version is same, I was not facing the issue i.e. after taking bpool snapshot, VM rebooted without any issue
