Thanks! Issues can be reported to me by E-mail, but also reporting bugs in Ubuntu or Debian (if that's where they were spotted) is fine since I'm the package maintainer as well and "forwarding upstream" is essentially a no-op.
The --imperial and --metric options to the script essentially just filter the non-desired values out, since NWS provides both for most fields. In the case of the "Precipitation last hour" field it's possible they don't include a metric equivalent, but since that field is only provided when there's a nonzero value for it I can't see the raw version at https://tgftp.nws.noaa.gov/data/observations/metar/decoded/CWDZ.TXT right now. Providing --verbose output in future reports is preferable so I can see what the raw file looked like at the time the bug was observed, but I'll search around and see if I can spot somewhere that's raining right now to find an example so I can tell for sure what's going wrong with it. -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/2111449 Title: when using --metric "Precipitation last hour:" is still in inches To manage notifications about this bug go to: https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/weather-util/+bug/2111449/+subscriptions -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list [email protected] https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
