I'm able to reproduce most of the times on a machine from the certification lab, indeed with nvidia drivers but that doesn't necessarily seem to be the culprit. Instead, what I can see is a timing issue:
snapd-desktop-integration starts with default.target and tries to dbus- activate org.freedesktop.portal.Desktop which tries to activate xdg- desktop-portal-gnome which is configured to only run after graphical- session.target If you are affected by this bug please confirm that we are looking at the same issue checking whether the issue is solved by disabling snapd- desktop-integration with: $ sudo systemctl --user --global disable snap.snapd-desktop- integration.snapd-desktop-integration.service then reboot the system and try to reproduce the bug. Replace 'disable' with 'enable' to enable it again after testing. -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/2042301 Title: Windows are slow to open shortly after login under X11 session To manage notifications about this bug go to: https://bugs.launchpad.net/oem-priority/+bug/2042301/+subscriptions -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list [email protected] https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
