Yes, it is a duplicate from the bug report you‘re mentioning.
As the „original“ report describes, I had no error message, just that „There
was an error, pls run…“ window.
The window occurred twice (a second time during the installation of the new
packages while upgrading) using the graphical installer.
Nevertheless upgrade finished successfully.
