@juergh I have been having issues getting Wi-Fi working on my new laptop - same card, Lenovo Thinkpad. I can confirm that downloading the new firmware and adding to /lib/firmware solved my issue, Wi-Fi now detected and working as expected. Thank you so much, I was tearing my hair out!
