Public bug reported:
Installing clean install of paraview on 24.04
sudo apt install install paraview paraview-doc paraview-dev
Go to :
- Start paraview
- Go to Help -> Example Visualizations
- You get an error msg saying "/examples" is missing from the installed package
Checking the debian changelog it seems the examples were added at one
stage (paraview (3.2.3-2) unstable) but dont seem to be included any
longer?
Error msg:
>> Your installation doesn't have datasets to load the example visualizations.
>> You can manually download
the datasets from paraview.org and then place them under the following path for
examples to work:
'/examples'
