Dear Ubuntu Maintainers,
I would like to request an update of the aqbanking package in Ubuntu
24.04 (Noble) from version 6.5.4 to the latest stable release, 6.6.0.
Justification:
SEPA Transaction Issues: Users have reported errors such as HBCI:
9010 - The sent SEPA document is not valid when performing SEPA
transactions using AqBanking 6.5.4. This issue is particularly prevalent
with banks connected via Atruvia (e.g., VR-Banken).
Resolution in Version 6.6.0: The latest stable release, AqBanking
6.6.0, addresses these SEPA-related issues, improving compatibility and
reliability.
Adoption in Other Platforms: GnuCash 5.11 for Windows already
includes AqBanking 6.6.0, and the Flatpak version of GnuCash also
utilizes this updated version, indicating its stability and readiness
for broader adoption.
Recommendation:
Please consider updating the aqbanking package in the Ubuntu 24.04
repositories to version 6.6.0 to enhance SEPA transaction support and
overall functionality.
