Hello @marrol777 We understand your confusion. Desktop and server drivers (Trying to use your terms, we would say UDA vs ERD), could come from different inputs and even though in this particular case the version numbering from -server and non-server was the same, historically speaking that hasn't been the case every time.
UDA Releases from NVIDIA: https://www.nvidia.com/en-us/drivers/unix/linux-amd64-display-archive/ ERD Releases from NVIDIA: https://docs.nvidia.com/datacenter/tesla/drivers/releases.json Therefore, it follows separate release and quality control pipelines internally. If you want to opt to use the -server driver, you can do so. Let me know if this clears up your understanding. -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/2107636 Title: New upstream release 550.163.01 UDA13 To manage notifications about this bug go to: https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/nvidia-graphics-drivers-550/+bug/2107636/+subscriptions -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list [email protected] https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
