Thank you! That's interesting:
When I was deleting the extensions folder from ~/.local/share/gnome-shell/, my problem still occurred. But now I've removed ArcMenu using the Extension Manager GUI, and so far, the fallback to X11 has stopped. However, I'm still getting new .crash files in the form of _usr_bin_gnome-shell.119.crash, even after deleting all existing files in /var/crash/ I've uploaded the file using ubuntu-bug, here's the ID: 8c0c45ce-298a-11f0-a6b5-fa163ec8ca8c -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/2109886 Title: System sometimes logs into X11 instead of Wayland To manage notifications about this bug go to: https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/gnome-shell/+bug/2109886/+subscriptions -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list [email protected] https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
