> I suspect that's due to manual driver installs What do you mean by manual driver installs?
The upstream nvidia driver installer bundles a prebuilt libnvidia-egl-wayland.so.1, like any other nvidia userspace GL Library. Our packaging has a strong Requires from nvidia prebuilt userspace and the source-built libnvidia-egl-wayland1. If libnvidia-egl-wayland.so is missing, most likely so is the rest of the nvidia userspace. Which is probably what's happening in bug 2107684. And that might turn out to be a reproducer for bug 2101817. -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/2062082 Title: Nvidia drivers fail to install libnvidia-egl-wayland1, resulting in Zink being used To manage notifications about this bug go to: https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/nvidia-graphics-drivers-535/+bug/2062082/+subscriptions -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list [email protected] https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
