I have been kind of hoping somebody would address this issue in the upcoming Ubuntu versions but it is the same for 24.10, 25.04 and now even 25.10 (have just tested).
The reproduction is really simple. Compile my code from the post above and run the app. 1. [Bug] - maximize the window and close the app - start again - it is not remembered and starts in the previous size state 2. [OK] - resize the window any way you want and close - start again - the size and position is remembered 3. [OK] - Align left and close - start again - also this scenario works Only the maximized window does not work for any qt application. This issue should be escalated. Does nobody use maximized windows anymore? ** Summary changed: - Window Maximized is not persistent for some apps after startup + Maximized windows are not remembered for Qt applications -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/2083744 Title: Maximized windows are not remembered for Qt applications To manage notifications about this bug go to: https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/gtk+3.0/+bug/2083744/+subscriptions -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list [email protected] https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
