Thanks Timo, I've applied the fixed version this afternoon and it seems
to be working for me.

After following the standard steps outlined in the
PerformingSRUVerfication page you linked (i.e. updating all system
components, applying the specific fixed package version from the Apt
proposed repo, rebooted etc).

The version tested was: gnome-shell-extension-ubuntu-dock/noble-proposed
90ubuntu3 all

I followed the [Test plan] steps listed in the ticket above in both Xorg
and Wayland (confirmed via 'echo $XDG_SESSION_TYPE') and observed the
correct outcome on both (i.e. the text input focus moved to the window I
had selected).

The only slight anomaly I noticed was with Chrome where I initially
opened two windows and clicking on the Chrome icon in the dock wouldn't
show the expected two preview icons to select between them until after I
had performed some other actions on both windows, however as all other
apps worked I'm assuming this is a weird chrome initialisation issue
rather than relating to this change to the dock.
