Public bug reported:
When using hexedit to search a string on a very large binary file, a lot
of time can pass. So I started the terminal within a screen session, so
it doesnt interrupt when ssh disconnects.
Wenn reconnecting (on another machine) to the screen session, the search
was interrupted as the terminal size change was interpreted as a
keystroke, which intentionally should terminate the search.
Also, in a regular Terminal Window on a Desktop computer, the resize of
the terminal interrupts the search. I propose to cancel the search only
on a specific key or ignore terminal size changes.
That would by nice. Thanks.
