Hi, Eduardo, of course, it was working fine since I got this hardware (around
Nov 2022) in Jammy HWE kernel and Noble . This is the first time it fails (with
kernel 6.11)
On 6.8.0 it is working fine
> Can you try to unload and reload the driver: sudo modprobe -r igc and
then sudo modprobe igc
I have tried it already (please read my whole description :-) , there is
part "The fix is re-insert module". And yes that is valid workaround.
I tested with the newest 6.11.0-24 and it still the same. See the attached
kernel log.
When it boots it puts the card up
Apr 23 10:30:19 drakkar kernel: igc 0000:07:00.0 eno1: NIC Link is Up 2500 Mbps
Full Duplex, Flow Control: RX
See after that after where suspend begins:
Apr 23 10:32:23 drakkar kernel: Freezing user space processes
..
and resuming:
Apr 23 10:32:23 drakkar kernel: ACPI: PM: Low-level resume complete
After that there is no message with igc driver.
For instance for 6.8.0-58 it works fine. I will attach it in the next comment.
