Public bug reported:

As soon as I updated to the latest kernel I was unable to lower my
brightness (fn + f4). Everything else, including increasing the
brightness, works fine. The f4 key also works fine otherwise. I tried to
revert to the previous version and the problem persists.

Linux Mint 21.3. The kernel I installed which caused the problem is
5.15.0-138

I don't know how to do this step: 2) The version of the package you are
using, via 'apt-cache policy pkgname' or by checking in Software Center

Command 'ubuntu-bug' not found, but can be installed with:
sudo apt install apport

Should I install that to report the bug?
