**Issue:
The performance of steam and lutris apps/games went down significantly,
The CPU is heating much more than before while The Programs in question (steam
: Backpack Battles, Path of Exile; Lutris: Path of Building; java: Minecraft)
are significantly less usable (lower fps and honestly a fear of overheating the
CPU since i never heard the fan cooling this aggressively for extended periods
of time). Using Htop i noticed oddly high cpu usage from gnome-shell, however
this comes and goes.
**Information:
This Issue occurred after an update that was installed today,
I ran sudo apt update and sudo apt upgrade,
then the software updater updated something.
A reboot was requested -> after the reboot The issue began.
(extra:) I usually just let the software updater update the moment it finds
something.
