Gene, the released fix appears to be for the upstream NetworkManager package in GNOME, not the Ubuntu network-manager package that is linked to the same bug report. Take a look at the bug page: https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/network-manager/+bug/50214
So hopefully that fix will make its way downstream and we can see what happens.
