Public bug reported: Binary package hint: file-roller
If a filename of the archive does not contains an extension (e.g. *.zip) adding files to the archive leads to creation of a new archive instead changing original one. Example: - create a ZIP archive and name it 'foo' (not 'foo.zip') - open it in FileRoller - add a new file to the archive by dragging some file from Nautilus to FileRoller window Expected behavior - dragged file should be added to the 'foo' archive Current behavior - a new archive named 'foo.zip' is created, dragged file is added to this archive Ubuntu 7.10, file-roller-2.20.1-0ubuntu1 ** Affects: file-roller (Ubuntu) Importance: Undecided Status: New -- can't add file to the archive if archive name is without extension https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/181975 You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is the bug contact for Ubuntu. -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
