Glad to see you too, Gerald! Just throwing something here...
Since uou mentioned vm_rnd_bits, and its kernel docs says it is related to address space randomization, maybe disabling address space _layout_ randomization (same thing?) might help? This can be done per process, iiuic, so perhaps it could ve done by the package build scripts. See 1 for a quick reference (untested). 1: https://askubuntu.com/questions/318315/how-can-i-temporarily-disable- aslr-address-space-layout-randomization Hope this helps! -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/2054343 Title: CVE-2023-4039: ARM64 GCC To manage notifications about this bug go to: https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/gcc-10/+bug/2054343/+subscriptions -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
