That looks like the wrong crash again, but this time I can't tell why. Maybe gnome-shell is trying to catch the first SIGABRT but then dying with SIGSEGV in its own handlers. I'll need to choose a different signal that gnome-shell doesn't catch itself... Maybe try:
killall -QUIT gnome-shell The crash report also suggests that if you update your packages then we might get a better trace next time. Please run: sudo apt update sudo apt full-upgrade and reboot. -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/2089709 Title: Ubuntu 24.04 (X11) sometimes logs in to a black screen with only an X cursor To manage notifications about this bug go to: https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/gnome-shell/+bug/2089709/+subscriptions -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
