I am also affected by this bug, running an Intel ThinkPad T14 Gen 2 with a fairly (~1 month) old Ubuntu 24.04 install. The update pops up quite often, even though I reboot immediately. SecureBoot is enabled, but no FDE.
I attach the output of two consecutive invocations of `fwupdmgr --verbose update`, with a reboot in between. ** Attachment added: "fwupdmgr.log" https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/fwupd/+bug/2102703/+attachment/5869952/+files/fwupdmgr.log -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/2102703 Title: UEFI dbx update does not apply To manage notifications about this bug go to: https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/fwupd/+bug/2102703/+subscriptions -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
