I do not believe the added patches could possibly change the behavior of bug 2043517, so I did not repeat the test plan for that here.
In facts the patches will not change the behavior at all except prevent a crash the same way adding a NULL check before dereferencing a pointer does. People who currently incur on this crash will now get GLAMOR disabled instead of crashing. glxgears would not test glamor; it instead is a simple sanity check to verify that XWayland is up and running. I could add a test for glamor, but I think that would simply be looking at the journal and grep for glamor. -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/2096653 Title: Xwayland raised SIGSEGV in drmFreeDevice from xwl_glamor_gbm_cleanup from xwl_glamor_gbm_init_egl To manage notifications about this bug go to: https://bugs.launchpad.net/xorg-server/+bug/2096653/+subscriptions -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
