Issue looks  to be with evdi rather than kernel.
"Error! DKMS tree already contains: evdi-1.14.8 You cannot add the same 
module/version combo more than once."

1.14.8 is not the version of evdi found in Ubuntu 24.04, so you must
have gotten it somewhere else, and this is probably not a bug Ubuntu can
do anything about. Please tell us where you got that package.
