I discovered crashes like this can occur even with a single GPU and single monitor. Then fixed it in the final version of triple buffering that landed in Mutter 48. The cause was bufferless KMS updates like Night Light animations or even cursor movement in some cases. But Night Light is probably the biggest trigger for this.
It also means the fix previously declared as included in 47.0 isn't really enough and you need 48.0 to fix it fully. -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/2095456 Title: gnome-shell crashed with SIGSEGV in meta_drm_buffer_ensure_fb_id() from meta_onscreen_native_swap_buffers_with_damage() from cogl_onscreen_swap_buffers_with_damage() from swap_framebuffer() To manage notifications about this bug go to: https://bugs.launchpad.net/mutter/+bug/2095456/+subscriptions -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
