I am not able to get any crash reports as there are none. Anyway, disabling the Ubuntu Dash makes the issue go away, so it is somehow in it's code. I assumed it was fully JavaScript but I didn't find where the code for Ubuntu Dash is on an installed system so I didn't get further in debugging.
