Public bug reported:

Binary package hint: openoffice.org

Could be related to copy/paste bug already reported, but appears to be a
different problem.

I had two sheets open at once. I selected and area to copy (2 rows x 5
columns) > right click >copy.

Then switched sheets using the Window drop-down menu > new sheet (which
had been opened earlier).

Then tried to re-position the cursor in the second sheet onto the
destination position for the paste, but the spreadsheet would not
respond. The mouse pointer moved following the mouse, but clicking at
the new position had no effect. It would not change the to the new
selection cell.

Both sheets had a "split" in effect which may have contributed. The
"copy" and "paste" areas were both below the split, but the cursor had
been left above the split in the second sheet before this operation
started, that is, when switching to the second sheet to do the paste,
the cursor needed to move across the split boundary to the new paste
location. No sure if this is relevant or not.

The problem was solved by closing and opening the second sheet. The
correct location could then be selected and the paste completed.

Hope all this helps !
